My wife, who's been selling lamps longer than she cares to admit, tells me this that this is the finest example of Reverse Shade Painting she has seen in a very long time. She also says the 6-handled Urn base is simply a Quoizel Master-stroke. Hand painted in classic reverse (inside-out) painted shade showing ripe wheat-tassels against a Prairie field full of Spring Wheat. Shade colors are Copper-Wheat and Prairie Amber. The 6-handled Ginger jar base is perfectly finished in an authentic Mottled Copper Patina. Mission and Prairie themes abound with a stirring of fine Pacifica. A remarkable lamp. 22.5" tall, 17" shade diameter, 2 x 75-watts on very nice pullchains. (Use 2 x 26-watts compact fluorescents for about 200-watts of brightness while saving money and energy.)
